RE: ,stereo 411 From my experience I did have to change to alternative as the controls on the dash started to dim, especially when the volume was turned up. As for a power constant wire, I ran one very thick gauge cable to the the battery and attached both deck and amp to this one point. Sounds a bit serious, but when you considered that the amp draws most of it's power from this one line, it really is necessary in order to give the amp enough volts.

i found a dime today and talked to the owner he said he would sell it for
$1,200 just in case any one is interested
