I think they put out in the neighborhood of 1000 pounds of thrust. Dont know if it is true but I have heard that some idiot stole one of these and tried to test fly his car. Although it worked the only remains were some bone and teeth frags left in the side of a hill. .I think that most of the 510 owners that are not some teenaged punk whose parents foot the bill realize the risk of taking a street car to this speed regardless of if it will go there or not.
