Subject: Wiring of IR alternator question.

List,
A while back I inquired about wiring an IR 
alternator and got some directions from Dave Carrol and a few others. I also 
read the post on the DQ page which matches the info I got from you 
guys. 
Last night I purchased an alternator from Rod's 
Discount Datsun Parts. He gave me a wiring diagram to go with it. 
The diagram states to connect the W/Blk to the W/Red, and also connect the 
W/Blu to the YELLOW. This contradicts what I have recieved from this list and 
the DQ page, which is to connect the WHITE (not the W/Blue) and YELLOW 
together. Which way is correct? 
The alternator part number is 23100-B9802-R. I am 
not sure where Rod got this wiring diagram from. Thanks for any 
help..........
