List, Happy 510 Day! In response to a few questions both on and off list here's a little clarification on my BBQ: It starts at 5:10pm but most people show up between 6:00 and 7:00. The turnout in past years has been 25-40 people. It is BYOB for alcohol. I will supply ALL the food and Dr.Pepper everyone can eat/drink. It will happen rain or shine (keep your fingers crossed for good weather). We'll be cooking up a pile of awesome burgers and I was able to secure a ten pound case of Shultzy's Ragin' Cajun sausage links for sausage sandwiches. We usually watch Against All Odds, Rendezvous, and whatever else anyone wants to see after it gets dark, bring your tapes! My 510/Bluebird photo albums usually get thoroughly molested as well. As a special "treat" this year, I'm going to blow up the POS L-16 in my wagon, probably about 8:00pm. It's got a ported head (severely warped now), Igniter, and SUs so it should sound pretty cool revving to the moon. It has spun past 7000rpm on a regular basis for the last six months so I'm not sure if it will actually break or just seize when it gets too hot. I'm hoping for rods through the block! :-) I would appreciate it if somebody would bring a camcorder as mine has developed an appetite for tapes. Before anyone cries about this waste of a motor, let me assure you all of it's internals are JUNK. It blew the head gasket and I drove it home as fast as it would go for about ten miles with no water. When I got home it would not stay running below 3000rpm. It actually runs pretty good now, except for the exhaust coming out of the radiator cap. My address is below in case anyone wants an online map or directions. Anyway, I hope to see some of you here!
