Merlin, I converted both my `68s to the later style steel filler neck. One I had from my now RIP `73 and the other I got from a clubmember (thanks Jeff). For the outside end I had to get a couple of new rubber pieces from Nissan, around $22cdn each, one in stock the other took a week to get. For all the other hoses and the coupler piece between the tank and steel neck I bought fuel hose from the local autoparts store (they sell Dayco brand) after measuring the all the fittings and tank opening (sorry can`t remember the sizes right now and couldn`t find my previous post where I listed them) as well as new band type hose clamps and made up the needed pieces from that. Real low cost and the hoses are all much heavier duty than OE, being all re-enforced instead of plain neoprene(?). May yet make steele necks/flanges up for the outside end, as they don`t last forever and Nissan probably won`t be selling them much longer the way things are going. tmpnet@saltspring.com (aka Peter) PS..You going to check out Knox Mtn on the long weekend?
