From: "Chris Erikson" <cerikson@atvideo.com> Subject: Re: 2 cents worth of 4WD thought... Date: Thu, 11 May 2000 09:29:30 -0700I've thought about this from time to time, as I drive a wagon. The early 80's 4x4 shortbed trucks have nearly an indentical wheelbase as a 510 and very similar widths. As such, my thinking has been to pull the body of the truck off the frame, mount up a better engine, rework the pad heights of the body mounting points on the truck frame to fit to the 510 underbody, and drop the whole unibody 510 onto the frame. I saw this done on a 510 out in the sticks in eastern WA and it looked pretty cool. Chris Erikson -----Original Message----- From: Keith Bailey
