The good old days! Autocrossing on an active Naval base, nothing but a few cones separating the course from the parked fighter jets. President George Bush Sr. happened to be visiting Santa Barbara on this day and we had to tear down the autocross course mid-day for Air Force One to taxi in for some routine maintenance. The whole operation took much less than an hour out of our day, as I recall.
