6-SR Engine Locating Pin and L Sleeve

The L series engine uses a dowel pin and a sleeve around one of the lower bolt to locate the transmission. The SR engine uses 2 pins, which will need to be shortened for clearance when installing the adapter and L series transmission. This shows the L sleeve location on the adapter and the shortened SR pin. Use caution when tightening the bolt at the sleeve, the threads are only .250" deep into the aluminum. The L locating pin at the top of the engine is not used as it falls on the edge of one of the SR engine's mounting bolt holes.
