PLenty of paint stripper and brass brushes were used to remove all paint get ready for repaint and polish!!

Finding an undamaged grill asm. today is almost impossable and this one was no differant.. The grill had a small bend in the lower pass side corner that took me almost 2 hours of work with small blocks of wood and a hammer and a pair of pliers to work it back to almost good as new shape!! Found all my grill and tail bezels had been painted black at some previous time.. THis is always good to look for as it saves the chrome!!

Test fit of all restored parts has me very happy with the 4 day effort.. Only 2 more peices needed, being a lens separator for the area between the turn and stop lamp sections, and still need a good usable left hand inner bezel.. If andone has them, please contact me!!

Actually found a good set of Factory rubber seals also,, this was the best find so far!!

separators/reflectors was the most difficult task.. Sanding of housings with 600 fine and 1000 super fine before polishing has them looking brand new.. Headlight resto kit was used for lens and they also look like new.. Polishing of bezels has them also looking fine!!

Cleaning of buckets, bezels and Lens took 4 days total.. Removal of old rusted out lens separators/reflectors was the most difficult task.. This guy has been around for years and done so much Datsun work, I don't know why I didn't find him sooner? The machine work is absolutely beautiful and done to perfection..
