Here's the the test fit of the door panels. I'm still learning how to make these come out better but they are so easy to try different things with. It's all for practice since the car will be painted later... -

finally done this is the finished product. As with any project, I would likely do it different next time but I've learned tons along the way and tried to do a pretty clean install. -

Installin the engine/trans is extremely easy with the steering components out of the way and the intake off. Just carefully jack it into place! (I use a 3/4 ton rated eye bolt integrated into several rafters above to mount the engine hoist from the ceiling, very handy.) -

Here's where the Tranny sits in the car (only a little lower) -

I used the stock 510 crossmember modified for an Energy suspension Transmission mount (#3.1108GC). The crossmember only needs to be slightly modified in the same manner used for some of the 5-speed conversions for L-series. Very easy and simple. If clearance is an issue, I'll build my own in the future. -

My 73 has the droop in the core support so I continued it out to the side allowing the Fiero radiator to sit perfectly. This mod also allows room for an intercooler in front of the radiator in the future. The radiator sits on a rubber isolater in the channel section. If you plan to do this DON'T cut as far out to the side as I did, it makes things more challenging! -

I used two fittings from the parts store wich happen to fit tightly in place and then welded everything up. Fittings must be steel! The angled pipe may be a little shorter if need be. -
