My brother bought this car a few years ago. it looks OK but it's a flintstone car. Leaky custom top and the PO drove it all summer rain or shine.

I painted the speedo first. The tach came out better.

I knew all those models I built as a kid would come in handy. Base coat of white with a coat of fluorescent white. hand painted the numbers and marks back on with a tiny brush. notice the orange marks on the speedo, there are factory km marks on the outside edge of the face that can't be seen with the bezel on. I marked each 20km line. No more conversion in my head.

Please put an engine in me.

My homemade Steering box brace. I painted all of the brake lines, master cyls and linkage.

More repair patches. At the bottom you can see a patch on the frame rail where years ago the strut rod mount tried to remove itself from the car.

I can open my hood to strangers again.The chicken crap welding at the top was done at least twelve years ago with the worlds crappiest flux core welder. .035 wire in an .030 liner, still holding together though.

Pulled the L16 for L20B/Su's upgrade and decided to fix the rust and clean up the engine bay. Welded up patches and base coat of zero-rust. Top coated with spray in bed liner.
