STi R-180 Pinion Flange Detail

This has a bolt pattern that won't bolt to a Dtasun 510 driveshaft. The flange is also too large to pass through the Datsun 510 rear x-member. You need to unbolt this (impact wrench!) and pull it off with a gear puller. Drain the oil 1st or you will have a mess on your hands. Then pull the flange off any Datsun R-160 or R-180 diff or even SUbaro R-160 diff and use it instead. Use loc-tite and torque this to 134 ft-lbs to preserve pinion shaft lash spec.
