What's left of my AFX collection

L to R: BRE Datsun 510, Datsun 240Z, Ferrari 312 PB, Ferrari 365 Daytona, Mercury Capri. Naturally, my favorite car to race was a 510. I had a Blue #35 BRE 510 that I retrofitted with a G-plus chassis. I ran that one into the ground. This one's a stock Magna-traction car that's never been run, near as I can tell. The 510 body seemed the most balanced of the AFX sedans. It ran good off the guard rails, too. The '70 Camaro Z-28 also handled real good as I recall. The 312 PB was the nicest, most detailed AFX ever, IMHO. Mine's in good shape but I'd like to find a cherry one. Best handler of all back in the day (late '70s) was the Ferrari 365 GTB G-plus. Hard to beat that low CG. The wide-body Capri is nicely detailed, too. My sister bought a Capri shortly after I bought my 1st 510, so the family rivalry naturally extended to the AFX track.
