  8. battary box removed
  9. Filler work is done and sanded with 80 grit. Primer / surfacer has been applied. flat / long board sanding is next
  10. I use tape to help me keep track of the areas that need work.
  11. skim coated with filler AKA "bondo". Work the low and high spot as best as you can.
  12. HVLP allowed me to spray epoxy prime in the doorway. I was very concerned about overspray, but HVLP overspray is not the same as high presure guns of old. I waited for a day that had the wind blowing out the door and shot the primer. the tarps caught the overspray which is more like little drops of paint not like the mist cload you get with high presure guns. If I would of painted the car with high presure the paint would have been all over the walls as it went out the door. HVLP stirs up very little dust compared to high presure gun .
  13. Getting them to fit. I used "u" bends, measure twice cut once.... well lots of small cuts to get it right.
  14. 200sx down pipes are small. I bought an extra thick flange for a header made for a 2 inch pipe. the bolt pattern was off a very small amount, and a file took care of that.
  15. Getting the headliner just right with the clips before glueing.
