The 73mm center bore on the 13x7 Retro 4 wheel provides plenty of room for the 280ZX hub snout without any modification. The Retro 4 has the same problem as the original Libre, the caliper mount just barely contacts the inside of the rim. If the outer corners of the caliper mounts are ground down, the wheel fits with plenty of clearance. The edge of the rim is .5" from the strut tube. -

VTO's newly released Retro 4, 13x7 +0 offset. Comes with grey spokes only. It uses conical lug nuts with a steel seat pressed into the wheel. the only drawback to having steel inserts is the OE Datsun studs are not long enough to have proper thread engagemnet and need to be replaced with longer studs. -

The spokes on the VTO Retro 4 are thinner than the Libre giving more room than needed for a caliper upgrade. -

The Libre center bore is just slightly smaller than the raised step on the 280ZX hub. It will require a thin spacer or machining of the wheel or hub snout to properly seat the wheel on the mounting surface. Once that is done the caliper mount will need the outer corners ground down to clear the inside of the wheel. -

Here they are the original American Racing Libre on the right and the new VTO Retro 4. Both wheels are 13x7 +0 offset. The Libre weighs 14.25lbs. The new VTO Retro 4 weigh 12.25lbs. -

This original Libre wheel's spokes have been painted black, poorly painted that is. It has spent years with a racing slick wrapped around it and is permently stained with brake dust. -

The cant to the 2300 adapter can be seen here. This adapter is a fabricated unit designed for circle track use. The engines in these cars were tilted to almost straight up or slightly toward the driver side. This was done to increase left side and reduce right side chassis weight. -

This is a pre-production VTO LeMans wheel. The color is wrong. Production wheels will have a darker gray color. The sizes/offsets will be 15x6 +3; 15x6 +24; 15x7 +0 & 15x7 +12. All will be factory drilled in a 4x114.3 bolt circle and 73mm center bores. -

This is the assembled short block. It is a Z22 block and crankshaft. Custom 89mm Wiseco pistons. It uses L20B rods. The dip-stick has beenn drilled out and an L series dip stick installed. The heater outlet in the block has also been plugged because tha heater on the Lseries head taps off the head. -
