This is a new one,, I was going through my really old stuff from when I was in H.S. and going to the junk yard looking for parts for my 510 and found this on a 510 I was pulling the brass distributor gears from.. I figured it was a cool vin plate, so I took it too! Now I'm looking at it today, and I've never seen one like this before and just noticed it says Yokosuka Japan.. What is it? -
looking good now, last step will be removing tape gum and working in the edges of the painted areas !! -

Finished grill hanging till install time! Yeah, that's right, during each restoration I've done, my bedroom becomes the primary detail shop and storage area for my coolest stuff!! I have to make sure I make I my bed everyday too.. I've been known to fall asleep with parts in my bed, and one time my girl was over and got stuck in her back with a dizzy base!! lolzzzz -

After the polishing I was now ready to wipe it all down with thinner, mask off the outer chrome, and use a fast fill primer to prep for final paint! -
