Well, I got the new body in the shop, and started doing the massive clean up, and making of the roll bar this week..It's neat to see the 510 in our Brittish car restoration shop with the big Healeys!! It's time for the invasion!! -

Still working mostly one handed , But I can't resist working on te cars!! unhooked the old L18 in 2 hours and refit the accessories and insalled the engine in the bay in another 2..You could almost say I can do this with one hand tied behind my back!! -

Made in configurations as LZ14, LZ16, LZ18, and LZ20b, and LZ20bT.. THe later engines were used in Formula Pacific and Le Mans cars and could produce up to I believe 570HP...THere may still be parts available in New Zealand and Austrailia.. -

It looks like I'm going to take a little longer with this rebuild..AS long as I'm starting with the roller, I'm going to strip it out and block it out for a nice paint first.. -

Thanks to Mario and 510 East the new body roller has been picked out and is being readied for it's move to the initial restoration location.. ( my driveway and bedroom ) These locations see most of the restoration work.. lol -

This is the first dyno runs of the B Sedan car I built the engine for and restored all major systems.. I hadn't had the time to dial it in before the car got sold and have been helping the new owner via email to finish her up..THe initial run was putting out 78 RWhp.. after several jet changes and a new EL dizzy built to my specs, the RWhp went to 125hp.. Not bad at all.. the took a 3rd place at Monterey right out of the boxc before the dial started.. We should see some major lap time improvement now!! -
