Got all the engine mounts bead blasted and painted today as well as all the hardware.. Rebuilt my slave cylinder, split the trans and engine to swap in the roadster 5 spd and clutch.. And finished assemleing the front struts.. A good day.. -

For anybody that doesn't recognise ,, Those are a set of Real Vintage Datsun Comp racing struts.. Nothing beats a good rebuild and fresh paint with a clear coat!! -

After doing the Lizard skin, I got the quarter panel caps in and now she's ready to send off to the body shop next week for the final Level work and fill, and hit the paint booth!! -

This photo shows the detail of the Lizard finish!! It is able to be sanded smooth for a color top coat too.. I like it just the way it is.. I may even use it on my outside rocker panels like GM cars did, to avoid stone chips!!
