Buffed out and painted the Bob Sharp front anti sway bar.. -

Finished the leather stitching on the vintage Racemark too..The three leather spoke wraps had to be fit cut, glued and sticthed onto the spokes.. Finished the SSS horn button too, and refinished the original Racemark hub.. -

This week I fixed the roadster clutch cover that Dave Patten sent down for the car.. Stuck the sucker in my alignment jig and tweeked the plate back till it fit the flywheel perfect!! -

After oiling, and stitching up the vintage wheel it was time to make a new horn button.. I went with a nice little touch of an SSS button for this one!! I think I even impressed myself with how good it looks!! -

New stitching for the Racemark was done with this Honda Leather wheel raplacement kit.. The tread is a very strong waxed natural fiber and comes with it's own needle! cost between 2.50 and 5.00 depending on discount.. -

Much thanks to Dave Patten for supplying the vintage racemark wheel for the new restoration.. I can see why these were so expensive back in the day.. I can just see all those old Italian ladies sitting around sewing on these leather wraps.. The parallel stitches took 3 hours to complete, and I'm no novice with a sewing needle!! lol -

Now that the car has been sanded and primed, it's time to work through the areas that need some minor body work and get the initial work done.. Worked on a few doors too, the one in front is the one that Bit me!! Before going to the hospital I still finished up the door too!! -
