  1. From the album: LZ22 Engine Stuff

Voila! This 'bolt-in' arrangement has been performing leak free in my 510 for three years and 12K miles.
  2. From the album: LZ22 Engine Stuff

This is the knife edge sealing square edge in the bottom of the Tstat housing.
  3. From the album: LZ22 Engine Stuff

This shot shows a brass bushing I made up to extend the effective length of the Autometer sender. It uses a taper on the lead edge to create a knife edge seal at the Tstat housing, and a square edge to create a knife edge seal at the Autometer sender.
  4. From the album: LZ22 Engine Stuff

This is the factroy sender and Autometer sender side by side. You can see the Autometer sender is too shallow to reach the bottom of the factory hole.
  5. From the album: LZ22 Engine Stuff

This is your basic L-Series Tstat housing, factory sender, and Autometer mechanical guage.

  14. There's 960 pounds of MOG on that hood. No creaking, damage, bends or other damage to the stock steel hood. Left to right, Dave Patten, Matt Frechette, Chris Saulnier. Hi-res available on request.
  15. From the album: Chapman

The stripes were taped out over the base coat and re-sprayed with a random pattern. Shot taken at NHIS outside of turn 1. Hi-res available upon request.

I don't know the year or exact model, but this MItsubishi tach matches the stock look fairly well. It runs 12V+, Ground, and parallel coil sense wire.
  19. From the album: V8 510 Wagon Project

Here is a shot of a wagon seat back latch, as assembled from the factory.

This shot was taken the winter before the Junkbox finally rotted away. Makes Red look like a concourse car...

This core is in great shape. Note the crosshatching still in excellent shape.

    Z22S Core

    From the album: TurboLZ22Project

This was a total score. An 'island truck' came into the junkyard. Island trucks come from the islands off of the coast of Maine, and are usually rustbuckets. This one was no exception, a 1983 720 with a mere 34,000 miles, a town truck with all the service records in the glovebox. Score!
