measurements are to the bottom of the rocker, not the bottom of the pinch seam. Skinny 13" Tire OD measures about 23 1/2". 2" blocks in back, coilovers in front.

Most 510's have the nuts for the tranny mount bolts located here as shown: Frome the seat rail, about 10 1/4" to the rear nut and 12 3/4" to the front nut. Some shells (mostly 71 automatics) have the rear nut at 12 3/4" and the front nut at 15 1/4". Go figure!

standard bar is about 26 1/8" wide between the shocks.

"for lowered wagons" bar is about 24 7/8" wide between the shocks.

decent view of the different shape of the bar end. The part of the bar that is parallel with the car is about 1 1/4" narrower on the new bar. This will give more shock clearance

Since I am using lowering blocks, this puts the axle up higher on the shocks and the bar hits them. In addition to making the end links longer, I think I will need to make "lowering blocks" for the sway bar. Probably 1/2" to 1" thick. This will require new U bolts. Oh joy!

Here is the bar against the shocks
  22. From the album: O Tannenbrown

When I swing the bar up to meet the frame rails, I find that it won't reach because the bar hits the shocks. I need to make the connection about 2" longer.
