I could not get the fill plug out of the tranny so I removed the reverse switch and threaded in the water bypass fitting I had just removed from the thermostat housing base. I used a 5/16 flexible line and ran it up to the top of the engine compartment and connected it to a funnel with a barb fitting. This made filling the tranny very simple. -

roadster clutch (right) vs generic clutch. Generic one had only 500 miles on it but had a bent spring finger so rather than risk damage, I swapped to a new roaster clutch. -
