From the album: Carter's Miscellaneous 510 pictures
Cheap e-bay housings on top OEM Nissan housings below Note Nissan bulb is larger and has a directional reflector behind it. Mounting studs are studs instead of screws like the cheap housings. Gasket appears to be installed backwards on the cheap assemblies. -

OEM Nissan assemblies on top Cheap E-bay assemblies below Note that the seal on the cheap assemblies fits the lens poorly. It also appears to be installed on the wrong side fo the housing. -

OEM Nissan lenses on top Cheap E-bay lenses on bottom The cheap lenses actually are not too bad but they do lack the divider between the clear and orange lenses so both sides are lit up regardless of which bulb is on. You can add your own divider -

cheap e-bay lenses at left OEM Nissan lenses at right Note how the OEM pattern is nice and crisp. The e-bay lenses don't even have the concentric circle pattern centered in the same place on both lenses. -

cheap e-bay lenses at left OEM Nissan lenses at right cheap lenses don't even have real c-bores for the screw holes. It looks like a mold was taken off of a good lense and poorly made reproductions were pulled from that mold. -

cheap e-bay lenses at left OEM Nissan lenses at right cheap lenses actually use a sticker for the reflector. The perimeter of the lense is not detailed like the OEM lenses and likely seals poorly. -

I swapped in the manual gas pedal linkage and moved the gas pedal over to the right. You have to drill new mounting holes in the floor but there are already dimples there to use as guides. Note how much clearance there is between the brake and the gas pedal now. -

When I swapped from an auto to a manual tranny. I used the brake and clutch pedals from a manual car. The distance between the brake and the gas pedal was uncomforably close. -

The two holes in the floor board are from the original automatic gas pedal location. There is another set of dimples already in the floor which I used to drill new holes to the right for mounting the gas pedal in the manual tranny location. Note that the throttle stop has two holes. I moved the bolt from the left to the right. -
