Backup Light Wiring

Okay... there are two red with black stripe wires coming out of this end of the wiper-harness. I am assuming this leads to the backup lights and transmission reverse-switch. With IGN ON, one wire is HOT, the other is dead cold. I am assuming these plug into the transmission to activate the reverse lights.

The top wires are unknown wires, greens, aqua.. yellow.. don't remember, but hte pictures shows them. What do they go to? All of these wires were wound up and laying on top of the bay deck above the master cylinders. Any clues??!?!
